The new 7 Nio ET2024 sedan will go on sale on April 16

The Chinese brand Nio is launching pre-sales of the updated 7 ET2024 sedan on April 16. There are not as many changes as fans would like, especially in technical terms. On the other hand, the car has become even closer to the luxury class by increasing the level of comfort.


The design of the electric car has remained virtually unchanged. This also applies to the dimensions of the body: it is still the same 5101x1987x1509 mm with a wheelbase of 3060 mm preserved from the previous generation. The only changes are a new silver shade and 21-inch diagonal wheels.


When looking at the interior, the new brown upholstery color, which was not available in the previous generation, catches your eye. The upper part of the dashboard has become softer - finishing materials have been added here.

Already during the trip you notice that the design of the HUD module has changed and visibility through the windshield has increased. According to the manufacturer, the latter has increased by 7% compared to what it was in the previous generation.

One of the major updates for the 2024 model year is new seats. They have become much more comfortable and are electrically adjustable in 18 different directions. In this regard, the ET7 model is closer to the more expensive ET9 luxury crossover.


The rear seats are electrically adjustable in 14 directions and the backrest can be adjusted from 27 to 37 degrees. Each seat supports 5 massage modes to choose from.

Passengers in the second row have access to two OLED displays, each 14,5 inches diagonal. The powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 processor is responsible for multimedia operation, so menus on all screens are characterized by instant response and high frame rates.

The new product received a professional audio system with the same number of speakers as in the previous generation - 23. However, the total power of the emitters has increased and is 2230 W.


There is no news in terms of power plant. Nio ET7 is driven by two electric motors, one each on the wheel axle. The total power of all-wheel drive is 480 kW. Its power is provided by a battery of one of three capacity options: 75, 100 and 150 kWh.

Over three years of sales, Nio ET7 was sold in quantities of more than 29000 copies. However, in 2023, volumes began to decrease due to increased competition in the Chinese market in the premium segment.
