New VGV crossovers will officially appear in Russia - three rows of seats and automatic transmission from ZF

Chinese car brands are amazing in their diversity. And not only in the Middle Kingdom, but also here. And the closer a city is to China, the more strange and unfamiliar nameplates are found on cars. Officially, we don’t have that many brands from the Middle Kingdom. But, especially starting from 2022, there are more and more of them. The main reason is the withdrawal of European, Japanese and Korean manufacturers from the market. Entire niches have become vacant, and the Chinese are occupying them. True, they are increasingly leaning on the middle and premium classes. And there are few budget cars from them.


And soon, or more precisely, in the summer, they promise to bring crossovers of a new brand – VGV – to Russia. Naturally, we are talking about official deliveries. To begin with, two models will be sold in our country - U70 PRO and U75 PLUS. In fact, the cars are similar, just one is simpler, and the second is more sophisticated. The length of the crossovers is 4,82 meters. The cars come only in three-row versions. But there is still room for the trunk – 201 liters. If necessary, the seats of the third and second rows can be folded. Under the hood of the VGV U70 PRO is a one and a half liter engine with 143 hp. The more expensive crossover has a 2,0 engine with 199 horsepower. Transmissions are only automatic, manufactured by ZF.
