BMW X7 is the largest crossover of the German brand

BMW crossovers in Russia have long gained legendary status. The conversation, first of all, is about the X5 model. This car managed to combine the incompatible - the sporty component of the fifth series sedans and station wagons with the cross-country ability of SUVs. It should be noted that he succeeded. But competitors, such as Mercedes and Audi, have long filled their lineup with crossovers of various sizes. BMW bosses and engineers also tried, but somehow they didn’t succeed with the large SUV. And only in 2019 it became clear why. It turns out that they were simply preparing something that would outshine its competitors at the start of sales - the X7.


The funny thing is that in the EU countries the model was greeted coldly. But in the USA, China and Russia they liked it. These markets have become a priority for the brand. By the way, the BMW X7 crossover is not far from its “middle brother” X5. And the cars are similar in appearance, to such an extent that some people confuse them. Yes, gone are the days when models from the same manufacturer were very different in appearance. This is the age of global unification. By the way, the X7 turned out to be so popular in our country that its assembly was set up in Kaliningrad at the Avtotor plant.
