The Vigor 540 (A) Closed Bow power plant is a single-stage axial flow jet of the Vigor 170 brand. It is equipped with a 17 cm diameter impeller made of stainless steel. The nozzle is made from it, but the engine body is made of aluminum alloy so that it weighs less.

The plant took care of the durability of the motor: its body has an anti-corrosion coating in the form of zinc primer with polymer paint. Magnesium anodes are used for additional protection.
