Geely Galaxy will release three electric SUVs by the end of the year

Geely has published several images showing the new representative of the Galaxy EV line. This time we are talking about an electric SUV - it will stand on a par with such models as the E8 sedan and L7 crossover already available for sale.


Exact technical specifications, prices and release date have not yet been disclosed. There is every reason to believe that the car will be officially presented at the Beijing International Motor Show. The 18th event will take place from April 25 to May 4, 2024.


All we have so far are the same images in the teaser. From them you can understand that the SUV will get a “predatory” look due to LED optics. There is no classic radiator grille here - instead there is a solid panel, which is typical for electric vehicles.

When viewed in profile, we see hidden door handles flush with the body. The side panels on both sides have decorative stripes painted in chrome. The last thing that catches the eye is the factory wheels with a custom star pattern.

According to the company's plans, the new crossover from the Geely Galaxy line will go on sale at the end of 2024. Its price should fall within the range from 100000 to 200000 yuan, which is from 13800 to 27700 US dollars or from 1,276 to 2,561 million rubles.

With a high probability, the new product will be called E7. The fact is that the manufacturer refers to purely electric cars with the letter “E” (while the letter “L” is reserved for hybrids). Even numbers in the line indicate sedans, and odd numbers indicate crossovers.


In 2024, Geely is focusing on expanding its range of electric vehicles - both pure EVs and hybrid models. It is planned to release at least three new models, and the SUV announced in the form of a teaser will be one of them.

In total, by the end of this year, the Galaxy line should be replenished with three crossovers. These include both a pure electric car and a plug-in hybrid, as well as a compact SUV. All of them will be based on identical architecture and will receive an exterior design in the same style.

The Galaxy brand was founded in 2023 under the management of Geely, but is now an independent brand. It not only has its own logo, but also its own dealer network. Currently on sale you can find models L6, L7 and E8. In total, more than 2023 copies were sold in 83000.
