The search for an alternative driving force for transportation does not stop both in the laboratories of the largest automakers and in ordinary garages. In the latter case, enthusiasts are not guided by many years of development, but create more on a whim, using what is at hand. So this time, the inventive craftsmen running a video blog on the Garage 54 channel made an attempt to “invent” something as environmentally friendly as possible.
It was decided to modify the conventional internal combustion engine beyond recognition. Of course, materials such as chipboard and plastic sewer pipes were used for the test sample. The crankshaft was welded “on the knee” from pipes, and search magnets were used to play the role of the piston group. The camshaft was also designed in an unusual way - this definitely needs to be seen, since a description in text is not able to convey all the enchantment of the new unit.
You can guess what principles make the crankshaft rotate. But how realistic it is to place such an installation under the hood of a Zhiga and drive away is a rhetorical question. On the Garage 54 channel we have never heard such phrases as “this is impossible.” Guys, anything is possible. But how? Watch the video!
