In Russia they began to produce truck cranes that have no analogues in the country

The Galich Truck Crane Plant (GAKZ) began mass production of KS-55721-1B-1. This is special equipment from the Komsomolets series. The new truck crane has already passed all checks. Moreover, its components and assemblies have proven to be durable and reliable. In a number of parameters they are superior to their foreign analogues.


Let us remind you that the KS-55721-1V-1 was first demonstrated to the public in May last year. At the same time it was reported that the model of the truck crane would definitely go into production.

The new technology impresses not only with the characteristics of special equipment. KAMAZ-6540 was used as a base for its installation. This is a powerful car with an 8x4 wheel arrangement.


The machine can not only withstand heavy loads. It is characterized by stability and cross-country ability. Universal tires mean that this truck crane will travel to any construction site.

The boom of special equipment consists of five sections. Total length – 41 meters. Thanks to the use of Russian steel, the truck crane is capable of lifting a load weighing 1,7 tons to the height of a 19-story building. This is 57 meters.

Truck cranes of the Komsomolets series meet all international standards. This is modern technology. Powerful, safe in compliance with safety regulations, equipped with a number of systems that prevent the occurrence of dangerous situations.

For example, until the crane operator sits down in his chair, the equipment will not move. Electronics will warn about excessive loads. She will block work if necessary.

We haven’t forgotten about operator comfort. The crane operator's cabin is characterized by increased dimensions and large windows. The front glass is panoramic. All this improves visibility, directly affecting safety.

Even in the basic configuration, the crane operator’s cabin KS-55721-1V-1 is equipped with a powerful heater and air conditioner. This means that you can work at any time of the year, regardless of the geographical location of the facility.


Entrance to the cabin is through a sealed compartment-type door. They didn’t even forget about EVA mats. They will help keep the inside clean.

Representatives of the Galich Truck Crane Plant claim that their model is clearly superior to its Chinese counterparts in terms of technical characteristics. They are able to gradually increase production, replacing truck cranes from the Middle Kingdom with their own special equipment.

As for the cost, it has not yet been announced. But judging by other models from GAKZ, it is unlikely to be higher than that of their Chinese counterparts.
