Serial production of Sova Motors vans is launched in the Russian Federation

It became known that at the production facilities of Sova Motors LLC in Yelabuga they launched the assembly of Sova 25 electric vans, so far in test mode. The first cars produced will take part in certification testing events. The line will reportedly be fully operational in May 2024.


At the initial stage, the production of domestic Sova 25 trucks, which are essentially the all-metal Chinese Wuling EV 50, will be carried out in large-unit assembly mode. In the future, they plan to localize the assembly process as much as possible.


The machine is simple and has a minimum of “fillings”. Comfort options include a stove and air conditioning. The carrying capacity of the model, which has a spacious cargo compartment with a volume of 5,1 m³, is 1000 kg. The curb weight of the car is 1475 kg. The range of the electric van is about 150 km. Now Sova 25 is offered at a price of 3,5 million rubles.
