Second-generation Haval H9 SUVs are already being sent to dealers

Great Wall Corporation has begun delivering batches of Haval H9 SUVs to its dealers. These are second generation cars that have not yet gone on sale. But the latter is expected one of these days - as soon as all dealers receive the model.


Naturally, the Haval H9 will first appear on the domestic market, that is, in China. But then the manufacturer promised to launch sales in Russia. By the way, our country will be one of the first where the new SUV will officially debut.

In the Middle Kingdom, the Haval H9 will be offered in both five and seven-seater versions. But it will reach Russia only in a three-row version. The Haval press service has already talked about this.


Externally, the SUV has changed a little - it has become larger. And the design has been seriously redesigned to suit modern automotive fashion. The length of the Haval H9 is now 4,95 meters.

The SUV will be offered with a choice of two engines. The first is a turbo-petrol power unit with a volume of 2,0 liters and 224 liters. With. The second is a 2,4 liter diesel. The power of the latter is 184 “horses”.

Transmissions will only be automatic, but the petrol Haval H9 will have an 8-automatic transmission, and the diesel one will have a 9-automatic transmission. The drive is promised to be completely all-wheel drive. The off-road potential is good - there are differential locks and a reduction gear.

It is already known when sales of the new Haval H9 will begin in Russia. This will happen in mid-summer 2024. By the way, cars will not be imported from China assembled. Their production will be established here.

They promise that in August all official dealers will begin offering the Haval H9 to potential customers. Even approximate prices are known - they will be in the range of 4,3-5,8 million rubles. The discrepancy is serious - it seems that the dealers have not yet decided. Or simply the SUV will be offered in several trim levels that differ in cost.


By the way, the Great Wall Motor Corporation has seriously decided to settle in Russia. They opened a new engine plant in March. As the Haval press service said, the enterprise’s capacity is designed for more than 100 thousand engines per year.

The new plant will produce two engines – the most popular ones. The first with a volume of 1,5 liters, the second - 2,0. It is planned that the engine plant will meet 100% of the needs of the Russian assembly plant, where Haval cars are produced.

Great Wall Motor is going to localize its SUVs in our country as much as possible. This will help reduce prices and increase sales. Plus it will provide new jobs, not only at Haval factories, but also at related enterprises.
