These are models from the ID electric series. Since 2021, the line has carried the GTX label - based on dynamic Volkswagens with the designations GTI (petrol), GTD (diesel) or GTE (hybrid engines).
Today, every fifth registered ID.4 and ID.5 coupe crossover in Europe is already a GTX model (electric car), which indicates the growing popularity of the latter. Volkswagen therefore decided to transfer these dynamics to the ID.3 GTX and ID.7 GTX Tourer – with individual technical tuning in each case.
VW will release the rear-wheel drive ID.3 GTX in two variants. The top model will be the ID.3 GTX Performance. It can be called the electric equivalent of the “sports icon” Golf GTI Clubsport. According to VW representatives, both models "have the same ease of acceleration."

The ID.3 GTX stands out among other cars in the line with its individual exterior design. The GTX-specific front bumper features an independent diamond-style air intake and new daytime running lights. The black body elements have a glossy finish. This also applies to the updated thresholds.
Also new are 20-inch Skagen alloy wheels, which come as standard. Many GTX-specific features allow you to personalize your interior. Premium seats in cloth and leatherette, fitted as standard, underscore the sporty character of the most powerful ID.3 models. Another classic GTX design element: red stitching on the seats and multifunction steering wheel. The more powerful ID.3 GTX Performance features DCC adaptive chassis control.
Like the ID.4 GTX and ID.5 GTX, the ID.7 Tourer is equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel drive system. This model combines the spaciousness of a large station wagon with the performance of a sports car.

The front of the Tourer is distinguished from other models in the range by a bumper with a honeycomb grille and GTX-specific lighting graphics, including illuminated badges. As with the ID.3 GTX, all black elements have a high-gloss finish. This applies to the side sills and lower rear bumper in the GTX design. 20-inch Skagen alloy wheels are also standard.
The interior is complemented by custom seats (heated in the front) with perforated GTX lettering on the backrests, red piping and stitching on the instrument panel and door trim, and a GTX multi-function steering wheel. Trunk volume - 1714 liters. Prices are currently unknown and may be announced at the presentation of the models.
