The new Russian brand Xcite has released the first batch of crossovers X-Cross 7

AvtoVAZ's subsidiary, Avtozavod St. Petersburg LLC, announced the release of a batch of SUVs. Promptly: after all, the country only learned about the Xcite brand at the end of January. A new product called X-Cross 7 in the amount of several thousand copies has already left the conveyors of the plant that once belonged to Nissan.


According to the director of the St. Petersburg enterprise, Ivan Mironov, while dealer networks are being formed, the cars will be in warehouses. But, as the head is sure, compatriots will receive SUVs this spring. The price has not been announced, and details about the development and technical partners of Avtozavod are unknown. However, the identity of Russian SUVs with the Chinese Chery Tiggo 7 Pro cannot be hidden: the cars are similar in appearance and have approximately the same characteristics. Possibly built on the same base. In any case, it has been announced: the platform is well known to our users.


The overall dimensions of the model are impressive: 4500x1842x1702 mm. The Chinese model is 3 mm higher than ours, other parameters are the same. The luggage compartment of the X-Cross 7 is also impressive - 475-1500 liters. The trunk door opens electrically. The all-terrain vehicle will have 18-inch wheels and a ground clearance of 190 mm.

The engine compartment filling differs little from the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro. It is known that the domestic SUV is equipped with a 1,5-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine. The unit develops 147 hp. s., torque is 210 N*m. A variable transmission will work in tandem with the petrol unit.

X-Cross 7 is a single-wheel drive crossover, they don’t promise a full one. Performance indicators are more than good for a Russian-made SUV: maximum speed is 186 km/h, acceleration to 9,8 km/h is within XNUMX seconds.


The equipment in the basic version is known: diode optics, advanced electrical accessories, 6 airbags, wireless charging for gadgets. The driver will be helped in driving the car by various assistants and tips. The central place on the console will be occupied by a 10,25-inch multimedia touch screen. Comfort on the road will be provided by 2-zone climate control. Also standard is a panoramic roof and keyless entry.

The crossover analogue is estimated at about 2 rubles in the database; for the top version the buyer will have to pay a little more - 570 million rubles. Our X-Cross 000 is equipped with the second option. But one can only guess about the final cost on the Russian market.
