Everyone knows how long and tedious it is to restore even the slightest damage to a car’s paintwork. First, everything is processed with sandpaper to bare metal, then there is putty (if necessary), then primer, painting and varnishing. Now, if only we could make a paintwork that repairs itself! No problem - on the Garage 54 channel they began to implement this seemingly impossible idea.
What to choose as the main material? Of course, rubber, which can be “obtained” completely free of charge from used tires. Tires must be crushed into crumbs to create something like a coating used on outdoor playgrounds and sports grounds. We won’t dwell on how to recycle car tires, but rather prepare polyurethane glue.
We “combine” it with the crumbs and after mixing with the addition of white spirit we obtain a homogeneous mass. Well, now we prepare the “penny” VAZ-2101 for painting: we carefully process it with sandpaper. All that remains is to apply a layer of the resulting composition to the surface of the car. The result is a pretty nice machine: the “painting” is uniform and dense. After drying, you will have to go through a test stage. What will enthusiastic guys do with the car, how will they check the quality of the paintwork? Watch the video (knives and axes serve as control devices)!
