Elon Musk announced a new Tesla, which will not happen - acceleration to 100 km/h in less than a second

We are talking about the new generation of Tesla Roadster, the presentation of which is planned for no earlier than the end of this year. The new generation electric car will have a power reserve of 1000 km, and its acceleration dynamics really look threatening.


We're talking about reaching 96 km/h in less than a second. Such capabilities make the car practically unsuitable for use on public roads. In test runs on closed tracks, the prototype has already exceeded the speed limit of 400 km/h.


The Tesla Roadster II prototype was first shown 7 years ago, in 2017. Since then, Elon Musk has periodically fueled interest in the unique development.


Now, in addition to surprising details (far from complete!), it has become known that delivery of production models should begin in 2025. However, given the protracted history of the Tesla Cybertruck, we can expect a series of date changes over the next few years.
