Powerful chopper motorcycles have traditionally been made in the USA. What is noteworthy is that initially it was “folk art”. Only in America were domestic Harley-Davidsons. And in Russia and other post-Soviet countries we had to work with heavy oppositions. Although, we have recently begun to build similar custom projects using chassis, components and assemblies from Japanese motorcycles. Old, of course, for the most part, but still, these are not “Urals” and “Dneprs”. Returning to traditional choppers, it is worth noting that American motorcycle manufacturers quickly got their bearings, and Harley-Davidson first of all began to offer bikers exactly what they wanted. Of course, tuning enthusiasts still used production models as “blanks”, but their workload was less.
As for Japanese manufacturers, they usually adhered to the classic design in “chopper building”. Only engines were often installed on them from sportbikes, eventually giving birth to power cruisers. However, manufacturers from the Land of the Rising Sun also have more classic models - with large-volume V-twins. Take the Honda VT1300CR Stateline, for example. A very rare motorcycle in our latitudes. It looks like it's custom. But this is a production model. And the appearance – everyone in the “Furies” family is like that! The author of the channel “#WONDERFUL TECHNOLOGIES with Georgy Belov” will tell you about the bike.
