Russian tracked all-terrain vehicle Visuva - “the road can be mastered by those who walk”
Krasnoyarsk developers and creators of the wheeled “super SUV” Visuva S2 presented their next creation - the VesuvaTank all-terrain vehicle, now on tracks. The car immediately attracts attention with its modern exterior, although it is not as avant-garde as the previous car. Externally, only a wedge-shaped body is visible; other elements such as optics and winches are “hidden” in the body, where they look quite natural.

The car was announced at the end of last year and was supposed to demonstrate the model to the public at the All-Terrain Vehicle exhibition, but for some reason it was not there. At the beginning of 2024, the manufacturer reported that the equipment still exists in one copy.

Visuva Snowrunner

This is the full name of the tracked all-terrain vehicle and, apart from the first word, it is translated as “snow runner”.

But in front are the initial syllables collected together from the famous Latin expression “viam supervadet vadens”: which means “the one who walks will master the road.”

The manufacturer positions itself as a mechanical engineering company. In its arsenal on the official website so far there are only two models: the wheeled SUV Visuva S2 and the tracked all-terrain vehicle Visuva Tank in different configurations.

Based on the name, it is logical to assume: the machine is intended for use in snowy areas and mountains. However, the creators of Visuva claim that the vehicle can be driven at any time of the year over rough terrain and anywhere.

Technical features

Little is known about them. If we talk about the power unit, then this is a 1VD-FTV diesel engine producing 205 “horses”. A similar engine with a volume of 4,164 liters is equipped with the Toyota Land Cruiser 200. The all-terrain vehicle can also be equipped with a 3UZ-FE eight-cylinder petrol engine. Its volume is 4,3 liters with a power of up to 280 “horses”. The gasoline used is AI-95 or AI-98 “Premium”. The motor is installed on such models of the Japanese concern as Celsior, Crown Majesta and Soarer and some other cars. In terms of power units, apparently, everything will depend on the wishes of the customer. The highest speed of the Visuva Tank is 80 km/h. The ground clearance (58 cm) of the car is quite high, which indicates good cross-country ability.

Modification

The first version of the exterior did not suit the creators for some reason, and in a short time they prepared an improved version. It differs from the previous one by an even more minimalist exterior and an increased glass area.

So far, the first model called Visuva Tank is being offered for sale on the official website. The all-terrain vehicle is designed for six people (it is planned to produce a modification for 10 passengers).

Трансмиссия

Little is reported about her. It is only known that the vehicles are equipped with four- or six-speed automatic transmissions: presumably from the Tank-300 and Tank-500 SUVs. The main gear, final drive is from GAZ-71. The length of the Krasnoyarsk all-terrain vehicle reaches 4,901 m, its width is 2,48 m and its height is 2,403 m.

The ground pressure is low and does not exceed 0,11 kg/sq.m. cm (for example: a person presses with a force of 0,2 kg/sq. cm). The all-terrain vehicle is capable of climbing (and descending) slopes of up to 45°. The machine, weighing 3,5 tons, is designed for at least six people and must be registered with the State Technical Supervision Authority. You will also need a tractor driver's license.

The body is made of metal and plastic. Inside, eco-leather is used for upholstery of chairs. The cost of the equipment in the basic version is stated at seven million rubles. The manufacturer accepts pre-orders, but requires an advance payment of half the amount. It is planned to produce up to fifteen cars annually. Warranties are also known: twelve months or three hundred operating hours.
