The tractor plant from St. Petersburg, which produces the legendary Kirovtsy, has expanded the K5 model line. Previously, it was represented by the K-525 tractor with a Yaroslavl engine with a capacity of 250 “horses” and an automatic transmission of the T5 type with four ranges.


Since 2024, new products have appeared: K-525 with the additional index 25114T, as well as the most powerful version in the model range - K-530T. The main feature of this equipment is its dimensions, which allow all three versions of the Kirovets to drive freely on public roads (the width of the vehicles is 2,54 m each).

Two new modifications have gone through the entire test cycle - at the enterprise’s test sites and in real conditions of agricultural companies with large acreage.

"K-525 Premium 25114T"


An improved version of the previous “Kirovets”, whose full name is “K-525 Premium 428”. The new product differs from it in its dual-band transmission and updated control system. To cope with the modernized gearbox, you now need to use half as many buttons. There are 3 options for movement: automatic, manual or transport mode. The latter case involves the use of “cruise control” - maintaining a constant speed.

Thanks to the installation of the new T5-A gearbox, model 25114T is capable of reaching speeds of up to 50 km/h on the road. Now the operator will experience less stress in transport and work modes, which will increase overall productivity. In addition, simplified control does not require highly qualified operator.

“Kirovets K-525” with a 4-band box will not be removed from production: it will remain on the assembly line, because it suits many buyers due to its lower cost.

As for the exterior, the updated K-525 with the T5-A gearbox will differ from the Kirovtsev 25114A in wheels and hubs painted in bright red. The plant designers believe that this will show the high-speed character of the car. On the company’s website, a K-525 with a 4-band gearbox costs 9 million 743 thousand 130 rubles, a modification with T5-A costs 10 million 441 thousand 930 rubles.

K-530T


Its main difference from the “five hundred twenty-fifths” is a powerful diesel engine that develops up to 300 “horses”. This is YaMZ-53715-10, characterized by a large cylinder volume of 7,7 liters. In fact, we are talking about an enlarged version of the YaMZ-53645 engine, well tested on early K-525 models. The new 300-horsepower internal combustion engine required modernization of the cooling system: the volume of the radiators (they are made in the form of folding sections) was increased, the diameter of the fan impellers and their rotation speed were also increased. A special gasket-seal is also used between the hood and the engine compartment. Thanks to it, hot air comes out and cannot return back. But cold streams freely penetrate to the motor.

For now, the K-530T tractor will be assembled complete with the “old” T5 four-speed gearbox. It, like the new T5-A, is also automatic. The machine will be able to “independently” select the optimal gear, engine speed, and travel mode, depending on the load and the speed set by the operator. The tractor, compared to the K-525, has a larger (1,3 times) wheel diameter and the machine looks more massive. The overall height also increased by 2 cm. However, this is less than the tire size tolerance, so in the data sheet this dimension is the same as that of the K-525.

Another difference is the ability to install additional ballast. This is necessary to more fully realize the potential of the powerful engine. The basic configuration includes a load of 800 kg. Other features include a reinforced hinge joint and a different rocker design. The cost on the official website is 10 million 401 thousand 040 rubles. The last two models, unlike the basic ones, have not risen in price so much - by only 7%. And this despite the fact that the technical characteristics of the new products are much better, including fuel consumption.
