A new diesel manufacturer has appeared in Russia

Remdiesel is a company that previously was exclusively engaged in the restoration of power units installed in commercial vehicles. The modernization of workshops and the acquisition of the latest equipment allowed the organization to move to the next “step” - to begin its own engine production. The Russian Industrial Development Fund is participating in the project: it invested 235 million rubles. out of a total amount of three hundred million rubles.


In this case, we are talking about diesel engines, the first batch of 180 units of which the company supplied to KAMAZ in December last year. The motors coming off the assembly line have eight cylinders arranged in a pair of rows. The power of turbocharged units reaches 260 “horses”. Finished products consist only of components manufactured in the Russian Federation. The stability of production is associated with supplies from partners - fuel equipment and some other components come from the Altai and Yaroslavl plants.


Finished units are installed on trucks and special vehicles made on KAMAZ chassis. Such machines are in demand in oil and gas companies, housing and communal services, agriculture and other industries. Remdiesel will supply consumers with at least a thousand internal combustion engines this year, and the planned volume of 1600 engines will be achieved in 2025.
