Tractors were outdated, new ones were produced, but not as quickly as we would like. By the mid-90s, a lot of foreign technology appeared in Russia. Even a used one was superior to a domestic one. Not for everyone and not in everything, of course. In some places, Soviet-type tractors are in demand. Simple, reliable, repairable in any situation. But the machine operator is accustomed to comfort. Of course, no one blames the abstract worker. Working conditions are changing; few people agree to shake in an iron cabin on a hard seat. Nobody stopped Russian manufacturers from making modern and comfortable models. Only there was no money for it. And even if finances were available, clients were in no hurry to support domestic brands. They bought foreign equipment. This continued until 2022, until the usual foreign brands left our country. They were forced to support economic sanctions. Otherwise, they would simply be fined and banned from working in the US and EU.
