Unique “Batmobile” Datsun 240Z EV with a Tesla engine
What will happen if a popular graphic designer and illustrator takes on the task of creating a car? For example, you may end up with an exclusive Datsun 240Z electric car in the form of a “Batman car.” Actually, this is what happened. Ash Thorpe, known for his illustrations and concept art of cars for the movie about the DC Comics hero, had a hand in modernizing the Datsun 240Z.

The machine is built on the basis of a 3D model. Its body is entirely made of the lightest, but at the same time durable carbon fiber. It is also interesting that on the rear axle of the “Batmobile” there is an original electric motor from the Tesla Model S. Its power of 299 kW is absolutely enough for such a light car – it weighs 1133 kg. Power is supplied by two batteries with powerful cooling.

The video on YouTube channel "Larry Chen" clearly describes the process of creating the Datsun 240Z EV from 3D modeling to the assembly of the finished car and its presentation to the public. Let us also note the fact that the project is interesting not only from a visual, but also from a technical point of view. In addition to being an electric Datsun 240Z, it also features other innovative solutions.
