In the Soviet Union they knew how to make trucks and loved them, just like cars. True, all this technology was advanced until about the mid-50s, then gradual degradation began. However, the worldwide dieselization did not pass by the USSR. The flagships of the domestic industry appeared - MAZ, KamAZ, KrAZ. They produced diesel trucks. True, these cars were not very suitable for use in the harshest northern regions. We had to purchase batches of foreign-made cars - from Germany and Czechoslovakia.


As for Chinese technology, it developed for a long time at the expense of the USSR. “Big Brother” helped set up production. The Celestial Empire initially produced outdated models, but gradually everything changed. China developed, it decided to follow the path of Japan. Modern trucks began to be copied, naturally, taking into account technical capabilities. And now trucks from the Middle Kingdom are clearly superior to KamAZ and MAZ, at least externally and in the cabs.
