After all, it is much more interesting to see not what residents of distant countries will soon ride, but what you and your fellow countrymen will ride tomorrow. In today's difficult circumstances, it seems that progress should slow down significantly, however, this is not always the case. One of the most promising areas in recent years is the development of the Ivolga train line. We are already familiar with its first three versions, it’s time to see “attempt number 4”.
At the end of this year, tests of the Ivolga 4.0 were completed at the Tver Carriage Works. All systems of the future composition were thoroughly checked. For this purpose, various tests were carried out simulating normal and emergency situations. All this took place on the Maykop-Belorechenskaya stretch and near the city of Tver. The new train, which has an increased number of doors (3 for each carriage), will ensure a more comfortable journey for passengers in the future, especially during peak hours.
