The Volga was remembered by Soviet citizens as a dream car. Popular car, but inaccessible. These cars were not allowed for free sale until the end of the USSR era. They could be purchased only for special merits. And Caucasians with large private plots bought them up, paying double or even triple the price. And GAZ cars were played in the Sportloto lottery.
