Factory all-wheel drive VAZ Tarzan diesel from the 90s discovered

Well, as soon as it was discovered, the rare car came to the attention of the autobloggers of the Combat Crew channel, and they immediately decided to buy it. And how can you not buy it, because everything here is factory, including independent suspension, subframe, all-wheel drive and a diesel engine. Yes, yes, exactly the same, low-torque Peugeot 1,9 liter turbodiesel, already praised by off-road conquerors.


And on the all-wheel drive VAZ Tarzan, wheel alignment must be done on two axles, and not just the front one. It must be said that this car is one of 150 exclusive copies - this is exactly the number of VAZ 2109 hatchbacks that were produced in this modification in the 90s. Despite the fact that the “find” turned out to be parked in the courtyard of a high-rise building, that is, it arrived at this location under its own power, the unique equipment is sent to Igor Ryazantsev’s garage by tow truck.

However, it was not possible to immediately begin restoring “Tarzan”: bad weather raged and everything was covered with a thick layer of snow.
