South Korea: how cars are turned into scrap metal
Each country has its own technical nuances for converting end-of-life (damaged) vehicles into scrap metal. And South Korea is no exception. The video on the channel “Monster Factory” clearly shows how a minibus, which is not so broken by Russian standards, quickly becomes a raw material for processing. Interesting: cars arrive at the collection point with registration plates. They are carefully folded and then cut in half: like somewhere in Russia in some MREO!

The door of a minibus arriving for recycling is jammed, but employees of the collection point must get inside. For what? Ah, that's it! The battery is removed. By the way, not only. Here the disassemblers have their own business and they “privatize” more or less entire parts: for example, headlights, glass and much, much more. All this will be sold to special stores or, as they say in Russia, car dismantling yards. The footage shows how a car immediately drives up and takes away the unscrewed wheels: the case is set to work. Next comes the turn of the gas cutter, with the help of which everything valuable is also removed. What else is done to the car before putting it under the press? Watch the video - maybe the Koreans’ experience will be useful to you too: you just need to find a suitable landfill!
