Turnovers were growing, the assortment was expanding, demand was increasing, the quality was in line with international standards - it was time to export tires. This process began in 1974, early enough for a start-up business.

Maxxis development, successes, achievements

The impetus for successful development was cooperation with the Japanese corporation Kyowa, which began in 1969. In 1974, tires for trucks, special equipment, and buses began to roll off the assembly lines of the Taiwanese company. Already in 1983, internal and external sales brought the Maxis trademark a profit of $ 2,7 billion, and after 3 years the figure increased to $ 3,7 billion. The number of motor skates in 1987 amounted to 20 million units.

In parallel, there was an active phase of the development of the enterprise, the construction of new plants within the country and abroad. Today, 10 production sites operate in China, Vietnam, Thailand. Up to 30 thousand workers work on the latest automatic lines, machine tools and other equipment.


Subdivisions, representative offices and technology centers are scattered across North America, Europe and Asia. In laboratories, the best engineers in the industry develop new rubber compounds, tread patterns, and tire designs. And in the Celestial Empire, its own large test site was created. Here, on numerous tracks, zones that imitate the road conditions of various countries, Taiwanese tires are run in. It is not surprising, therefore, that Russian drivers notice the absolute adaptation of Maxis tires to our difficult roads and harsh climate.

The Taiwanese enterprise, which does not have the richest history among competitors, in 2008 took 12th place in the world ranking of tire manufacturers. Last year, 2022, was marked by the entry of the Maxxis brand into the top ten. Analysts see the success of the company in the quality of the product and reasonable prices.
