Muffler repair without welding

Crack, rumble and roar from under the bottom sound like a sentence - it's time to change the muffler. But the part is not cheap, especially for some brands of cars. And it's not just about the price - for a number of models it's difficult to find this spare part even for money. There are three ways out: persistently look further and, if successful, "go broke" on a new muffler, go to a car service or contact a familiar welder, if any.

What if you try to do it on your own? As long as the Glushak is not falling apart before our eyes and the whole problem lies in a small hole, you can restore the part right in the garage, or even on the street. There is a viewing hole - well, no - we'll get by with a jack.

Immediately leave the thought of doing everything “in place”, even if the hole is from below. The muffler must be removed. Repair will take even less time than dismantling and installation.
