Electric vehicles were once considered cutting-edge, but now they are rapidly gaining ground in the market. Particularly distinguished in this regard is Western Europe, where the purchase of vehicles with electric motors is encouraged at the state level.
Only there are not enough charging stations, and although construction is being carried out at an accelerated pace, people still complain. In the United States, this issue is practically resolved - there are already many electric stations near the roads.
Europe, which has long been experiencing a shortage of space, cannot afford to install charging stations wherever you want. This is especially acute in the cities of Great Britain.

According to Prime Minister Johnson, the country is choking on exhaust fumes. If urgent action is not taken, the environmental problem threatens to turn into a catastrophe. To avoid this, by 2030 in England it is planned to abandon the sale of new passenger cars with gasoline and diesel engines.
They are not going to get rid of old cars with internal combustion engines yet, but their number will steadily decrease. It is possible that by 2030 it will be so expensive to own a gasoline car that it is easier to scrap it.
But there are only 25 charging points in England so far. Even now, this is not enough, and with a sharp increase in electric cars, the situation will become critical. By 000, the number of electric charging stations should be at least 2030.
Thus, a new law on mandatory charging points in new homes and buildings should at least partially solve the problem.
But the Labor Party is not so optimistic. Its representatives are confident that a full transition to electric cars by 2030 is out of the question. There are too many families and low-income individuals in England that will not allow them to buy a new car.
Laborites have already directly asked Prime Minister Boris Johnson whether the state will help such people buy a new car with an electric motor, or not? They did not receive any answers, from which we can conclude that no social projects are envisaged in this regard yet.

In any case, the construction of new houses and buildings with charging stations is a step forward in solving the problem of popularization of electric cars among the population.
