Hennessey unveils first Venom F5

Hennessey has finally delivered the first Venom F5 to the customer. Revealed as a surreal concept four years ago, the hypercar debuted as a road model in December 2020. Now, the Texas company has shipped the #1 car to someone who paid at least the $2,1 million starting price.




The Venom F5 lineup includes 23 additional vehicles that differ from the production version in Mojave Gold trim. Because of this, the road-legal status of the hypercar is highly questionable. It can only be officially registered in the United States as a show car. All special edition cars released have long since sold out, and manufacturer Hennessey has promised that the Venom F5 will break the 300 mph barrier and hit another 500 km/h record. The Venom F5 is definitely not for inexperienced drivers, given that all 1817 hp. power and 1617 Nm of torque are transmitted exclusively to the rear wheels. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes the car just 2,6 seconds, and from 0 to 200 km/h - no more than 4,7 seconds. The hypercar spends only 400 seconds to accelerate from standstill to 15,5 km/h.
