We start the "domestic" Mercedes of 1933
Just look at this "miracle", overgrown with grass and, it seems, rusted through! And they also dream of having this Mercedes. Yeah, he doesn't even have an engine. Although everything is fine here: rusty hinges that look like door hinges, the hood leans back and we see the 2,9-liter power unit in all its glory. By the way, for maintenance it is very convenient: the casing is removed completely.

The machine is “unique”: the motor, assembled in one block, is lubricated without pressure, by spraying. Moreover, together with the transmission, and the starter is turned on with a foot from the cab, as on the GAZ-51. The carburetor is located almost under the block - that is, gasoline moves from bottom to top. And it's a Mercedes! Nevertheless, it seems: in the cockpit (you can’t call it a salon) there are inscriptions, signs in German and even an image of the one after which today’s auto giant was named. But it is possible that this is a different brand of car. Or maybe something third? However, the process of reviving the engine is more interesting.

The guys from the Circus on Wheels channel are courageously trying to start the old engine, dragging a whole bucket of tools. When you try to install the battery, it turns out that part of the body is made of ... wood. And it's not all gone yet! Unlike metal: in some places it simply does not exist. What do we have after the preparatory work? The battery has been installed, the spark plugs have been checked, the fuel system has also been filled, gasoline and oil have been filled. It remains to connect the voltage to the starter. Will it run or not?
