Not so long ago, the guys from the Combat Crew YouTube channel posted a video about buying a motorhome on the chassis of a GAZ-63A truck. And so, barely reaching the base and without waiting for resuscitation, the car was dipped into the mud. A heavy, for a weak engine, burden in the form of a booth ensured reliable jamming of the ancient Soviet mud mixer, and the lack of a winch made evacuation impossible!
As usual, the younger brothers came to the rescue. The first number was the two-axle ZIL-157, nicknamed the Lumberjack. This custom truck is equipped with an American Chevrolet V8 engine, and an automatic transmission. And to work on the pickup, they took the off-road conqueror GAZ-66, on arched tires. The zilok was the first to go into the “battle”, but an attempt to pull out the motorhome with Soviet-American equipment burst, along with part of the steering mechanism.
As a result, this helpless off-road monster, who arrived on a rescue mission, had to be evacuated on a trailer himself! To do this, the guys had to go for an outlandish Combat T98 car with a diesel engine. True, first it was necessary to pull the "hippopotamus out of the swamp." And then came the GAZ-66. Shishiga, despite the fact that the ZMZ engine was dying, saved everyone! First, she pulled out the Lumberjack, and later the GAZ-63.
