Those who had money were not embarrassed even by a rather big price. Often there were moments when, in order to acquire the desired car, the future owner resorted to not entirely legal manipulations. The popularity of the car prompted designers to think about new modifications of the GAZ-24. A lot of ideas appeared, but the inertia of the Soviet system did not allow many of them to become serial models.
