Mink Camper
Some Russians call it a dacha trailer. The production of a mini-camper is carried out by the company of the same name from Iceland. In this country, rest in the "mode" of camping is a very popular thing, and therefore they know how to make such trailers here.

The peculiarity of the Mink Camper lies in its miniature dimensions, which was achieved by leaving only the most necessary in the motor home. Some technical parameters of the baby:
✅ length, width, height - 4,116x2,08x1,829 m
✅ weight - 750 kg
✅ clearance - 33 cm
The dimensions, of course, are not particularly, but the bed is Queen Size, that is, royal! Its size is 2x1,4 m. For two travelers, the average configuration is quite enough. And the high ground clearance allows you to overcome fords and drive off-road.
What's inside
Instead of a ceiling, there are darkened hatches through which you can admire the starry sky or close them with curtains at night. In the "furnishings" there are many pockets for small things made of felt.
Inside - full comfort and a panoramic roof. Photo: YouTube.com
Plus, there is an awning over the legs. When laid out, it turns out a small hammock measuring 1,4x0,5 m, suitable for a small child. Of the benefits of civilization - 2 USB ports, a socket for 220 volts.
Heating - for a fee. Photo: YouTube.com
Optionally available solar panel-battery, blankets, blankets, and much more.
Kitchen
It also exists, but in a “field” form and is located behind the trailer under the opening part. In the basic version - a stove, 6 drawers, a cutting board.

For a surcharge, you will be offered a set of enamelware.
Price
And here is where the sadness begins. The Mink 2.0 model in the basic version is sold for 1,42 million rubles, and with all the “bells and whistles” it will cost 1,72 million rubles. A little expensive for such a "mini-cottage", so it makes sense to see what the market offers on this topic in other countries.
Australian camper S3 from Teardrop Camper Company
This is also a "cottage trailer" that looks like a drop and has a semicircular roof. The camper is different in that it can be attached to miniature Smart cars. For this, a separate driver's category is not required. The mobile home weighs only 330 kg. Such a load can be mastered even by a trike-type motorcycle - a bike with three wheels.
Externally, the camper looks modest and somehow standard. Photo: YouTube.com
The module is made of lightweight and durable aluminum alloy. Inside there is a double bed 140 cm wide: for two travelers a small build is enough. From the "luxury" there is a lamp, a fan (it is at the top, built into a transparent hatch), lockers. There are mosquito nets on the windows.

A stainless steel box is installed on the “carrier” of the trailer for things. Other "goods" are standard: 12 V sockets, USB ports for gadgets.
Kitchen
She's also in the back. To protect it from bad weather, not only a cover that flips up is provided, but also a special awning that expands the “adjacent” territory. Inside, a two-burner stove and a water tank are immediately visible, which are bred to the sides, freeing up space.

A pump and an additional battery are also provided. Of the distinctive features of this camper, it is worth highlighting a mini-refrigerator powered by the car's on-board network.
Price
It depends on the package you order. On average, such a camper will cost 13 thousand dollars, that is, about a million rubles.
Trailer "Drop" from the Russian company FistashkaTrailer
This is a company that produces miniature motorhomes in small batches, located in Rostov-on-Don. The general name of a series of campers - "Drop". Today the company offers a camper of the "Comfort" configuration.
Design
It is based on a trolley welded from steel, on which a plywood frame is installed. It is protected from external adverse effects by galvanized metal coated with polymers.
The trailer is quite compact, solar panels are visible at the top. Photo: YouTube.com
In the back (like the Icelandic model) is the kitchen, its open cover serves as a canopy from the rain. Specifications "Drops":
✅ length, width (with wings), height -3,61 (2,68 without "carrier")x1,95x1,755 m
✅ dimensions of the "sleeping bag" - 2x1,46 m
✅ "ceilings" "rooms" - 1,19 m
✅ weight - up to 530 kg

The solar panel is included in the basic package and produces a power of 150 watts. Upstairs (optional) mounted trunk. For a fee, get an additional battery, gas stove, heating system, sunroof, awning, shower, etc.
Interior
There is no special finish - everywhere there is polished plywood treated with varnish. On the floor - carpet. There is also a mattress, if necessary, transforming almost into a sofa.
Inside you can make a bedroom or living room. Photo: YouTube.com
And also - LED lamps, shelves, a pair of USB ports and 220 V sockets (with a ten-meter cable and output power up to 1,2 kW through an inverter), the possibility of equipping a children's bed. A beautifully curved window can be considered a good design solution.
Kitchen
Everything you need for cooking is available. These are drawers, tables and countertops, shelves and a sink. Its work is provided by a hidden water tank of 35 liters. Here in the center is the "control panel".

With its help, you can turn on the light, use the "cigarette lighter" for 12 volts, turn on the pump, control the operation of solar panels (if any).

But here is a completely different matter. Even outwardly, the Russian trailer looks like an Icelandic one. Yes, and the functionality is almost the same. True, the Vikings do not have solar panels in the “base”, instead of them there is a kitchen stove (for some reason, the Russian trailer has the opposite). But the price of the basic version of the product from the Russian Federation for today, according to the price list of the company - from 415 thousand rubles. As they say in Odessa - "feel the difference."
The Russian company manufactures mini-campers to order - you choose the package yourself. A rental service is also provided - for 15 days from 1600 rubles.
With the result that
Based on the above review of three doubles (not counting children's berths), some common points can be identified. All models are made to order and in small productions. I wonder why this market niche somehow did not interest large enterprises? There is a demand, obviously! All designs have approximately the same layout, elements to increase comfort and even options. Another question is, what materials are used, for example, to make a Russian and Australian camper? Also, the commercials do not indicate what kind of suspension the trailers have, who is the manufacturer of its components and parts. It is possible that it is precisely because of these moments that the price of imported equipment, even of a miniature type, differs by more than two times compared to Russian.
