Exterior
The Heritage Edition package for the Mustang Shelby GT500 comes in stunning Brittany Blue. The manufacturer offers the choice of the buyer two options for stripes with colors Wimbledon White or Absolute Black. For especially sophisticated fans of the brand, a hand-painted body is available. You will have to pay 10 thousand US dollars for it. There is also a standard specification, decorated with two vinyl strips on the roof and hood, and one side on each side of the body.
Engine
The engine compartment of the 500 Ford Mustang GT2022 Heritage Edition hides a 8-liter V5,2 engine with 760 hp, turbocharged of course. It comes with a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. On standard summer tires, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3,4 seconds, covering a quarter mile (400 meters) in 11,3 seconds. It's worth comparing these numbers to the original 500 Shelby GT1967. The “old” car has a 7,0-liter V7 with 355 hp under the hood, which accelerates the Mustang to 100 km / h in 6,5 seconds. A car covers a similar quarter mile in 15 seconds. As you can see, the novelty is largely superior to its ancestor - technology does not stand still.

Ford is adding a new color, Code Orange, to the list of available colors for the Ford Mustang GT500 Heritage Edition. It has already been implemented for the GT and F-150 Raptor models. Another interesting addition is the limited edition Coastal, designed exclusively for the Mustang EcoBoost Premium line. It includes unique 19-inch wheels, a black grille, vinyl stripes on the sides of the body. Choose from Brittany Blue, Cyber Orange and Rapid Red.
Orders for the 2022 Mustang, including the Shelby GT500 Heritage Edition and EcoBoost Premium Coastal Edition, open Monday, November 15th. The first package adds $2140 to the GT500's price, bringing it up to $76, while the second package starts at $800. They will arrive in showrooms next spring.
