Mokik Riga Mini RMZ 2.130 - the dream of every Soviet kid
Mopeds in the Soviet Union did not shine with variety. They were produced only at two factories - in Lviv and Riga. Latvian vehicles were more popular - they looked more modern and differed in build quality. The most interesting specimen was the Riga Mini mokik. It has been produced since 1982 in various modifications. Most likely, the Riga Mini was created based on the Honda Monkey, the legendary mokick released in 1967.

Initially, a small folding moped was intended for wealthy adults. It was supposed to be carried in the trunk of a private car and stored on a balcony or in a pantry. Mokik had a folding steering wheel and a seat that was removed. It seems like an excellent solution, only respectable adults did not take root in such a technique - the weight was around 50 kg and the business style of clothing somehow did not combine. After transporting the mokik from the apartment, the owner became more like a factory worker. But the Riga Mini delighted the boys.

The author of the channel "Ivan Zenkevich PRO Cars" will tell you about the RMZ 2.130 model. This is the latest version of Riga Mini, with all the "bells and whistles" that were in the line. Who knows, maybe the audience will remember their childhood dream?
