TMZ-200 "Vepr" - a rare off-road motorcycle
If you recall Soviet motorcycles, then first of all, Minskach, Voskhod, IZH, Dnepr and Urals come to mind. “Java” is also spinning in the language, but it’s not Soviet at all, although in the USSR there were, perhaps, much more of these bikes than in Czechoslovakia. But for some reason, no one remembers about the motorcycles that the Tula Machine-Building Plant produced. Here they had scooters, but at the expense of bikes - everything is somehow complicated.

In 1984, the manufacturer suddenly pleased Soviet fans with a real off-road motorcycle. Since two-wheeled vehicles in the early 80s had long ceased to be considered a shortage, except for Java, of course, the Tula Machine-Building Plant decided to be creative. So the enduro "Tula" was born. The motorcycle was intended for hunters, fishermen and other brethren who love off-road trips. Only happiness did not last long. The strange bike was first dismantled, but it turned out to be frankly “raw” and not intended for driving on asphalt. While the USSR existed, the manufacturer did not pay attention to this.

And then the Soviet Union collapsed and the Tula Machine-Building Plant had to adapt to the buyer. In 1994, the Vepr appeared - a dual-purpose motorcycle, suitable for daily use in cities and rural areas. Yes, but it was already too late - Japanese used models began to be brought to Russia, significantly surpassing any domestic bike. Vepr was produced from 1994 to 1995, and even then, in a total number of no more than 100 pieces. The author of the channel "Ivan Zenkevich PRO Cars" will talk about this rare motorcycle in his video.
