It seems that fathers and grandfathers made sure that the child was attached to work with his hands and learned to think like an engineer. The boys liked the approach, and they twisted nuts from morning until late at night, and then drove, scaring away the neighbor's chickens and grannies.
When mopeds from the USSR fell into disrepair, second-hand Japanese scooters took their place. Only in the countryside, this two-wheeled transport did not take root very much - whatever one may say, the equipment is intended primarily for urban use. Classic mopeds were not brought from Japan, it is possible that the samurai stopped producing them in large quantities, or they decided that they needed such a cow themselves.
And then the Chinese Alfa mopeds appeared. They were from different manufacturers, but structurally they were descendants of Japanese technology of the 70s. And although Chinese products were considered not of very high quality, as now, in principle, Alfa took root in Russia.
