When the Renault plant came under the control of the administration of the city of Moscow, the revival of the Soviet brand became a matter of course. Information about this has already been repeatedly voiced.
And what do ordinary Russians think about this? According to polls conducted by Avtostat and journalists from automotive portals, about 30% of respondents do not believe that brand new Moskvich cars will appear on Russian roads.
In their opinion, all conversations will end in nothing. It is possible that the city authorities will invest a certain amount in production, but the result will be deplorable - at most they will assemble a couple of prototypes from Chinese kits.
Such thoughts do not arise from scratch - so they repeatedly tried to revive IZH motorcycles. But things did not go beyond prototypes and experimental batches.
22% of respondents are more loyal. They say that the revival of Moskvich is all talk and discussion. If it comes to mass production, it will happen no sooner than in a few years. And then Reno can return, taking his property.
15% of the respondents did not make any predictions. They answered: "We'll see!".
13,5% of respondents believe that an attempt to revive Moskvich will happen, but everything will end badly - bankruptcy.
