If everything is clear with the South Korean manufacturer - he never planned to leave, then it is worth looking into Toyota and Nissan in more detail. It seems that the Japanese are afraid of the actions of competitors from China. Manufacturers from the Middle Kingdom are now actively occupying empty places after the departure of European and American brands.
There is no clear answer to the question of when Korean and Japanese concerns will resume car production in Russia. The situation will depend on the supply of electronics from China. Naturally, firms from the Middle Kingdom first provide the domestic market, and then other countries.

Hyundai will not be able to resume production until June 30 - the official downtime of the plant in St. Petersburg has been announced until this date. This does not cancel the supply of ready-made cars to Russia, but how many of them there will be - it will not be possible to give even approximate figures.
Hyundai brand models are still in dealerships, but sellers do not exclude that there may be problems with deliveries to Russia until the end of 2022.
The Nissan plant in our country is also idle. So far, the dates until which the conveyor will definitely not be launched are named - this is the end of June. According to experts, downtime can last until the beginning of 2023.
Toyota has so far said that it is not worth waiting for the resumption of production of the Camry and RAV4 in the next few months. Deliveries of other models, including the Lexus brand, to the Russian Federation have also been cancelled. The renewal date has not been announced.
Toyota should not be accused of supporting economic sanctions against Russia. This Japanese manufacturer is itself suffering from an acute shortage of electronics. For example, recently we had to reduce plans for the production of cars. In June, instead of 950 cars, they plan to assemble 000.

Despite the difficulties, the Japanese manufacturer believes that problems with the supply of electronics will improve. Then the annual plans for the production of Toyota cars will be realized - this is 9,7 million cars.
But the reality does not meet the expectations of the Japanese. For example, the queue for the Land Cruiser 300 has already stretched for three years.
In fact, the Russian car market remains half empty, allowing the Chinese to take over.
