Forgotten version of dozens - VAZ-21106

VAZ is not only a huge number of cars that we see on the roads every day. The Togliatti plant is also a lot of "reserves", in which there are a lot of cars that were produced in limited series and did not go into mass production. About one of these copies, which cost twice as much as its usual "brother" and tells the host of the channel "BIBIP".


The first thing that catches your eye, if you get into the salon with the appearance of an ordinary VAZ-2110, is a speedometer, delineated up to 240 km / h. Why such an "exaggeration" for a car manufactured in 1996, which had an index of 21106? The answer is under the hood. There was not an ordinary engine, like a conveyor “tens”, but a power unit from Opel, which developed 150 “horses” (later they put a less powerful one, 136 hp) and accelerated the car to the coveted “weave” in 9,5 seconds . The speedometer, cut in its own way, confirmed the abilities of a non-standard car. This version of the "tens" even participated in rally competitions.
