In 2003, production of the French Airbus A380 started. But this event was preceded by a long cycle of preparatory work. For about a decade, designers and designers have been working on various versions of the appearance, filling and purpose of the future model. Initially, it was assumed that in addition to the passenger version, a cargo liner would be produced in parallel. But somehow the last one didn't work out. Therefore, in 2007, the company's management announced that a cargo version would not be produced. However, in order not to completely upset potential customers, we left them a little hope - presumably, work in the future can be continued. Dreams never came true.
But the production of the Airbus A380 passenger aircraft lasted for 18 years and was completed only last year. During this time, 250 cars were sent to the sky with a capacity of 525 passengers (in the case of a cabin divided into 3 classes) or 853 passengers with only one class of seats. Unfortunately, long-term plans for the production of a more spacious model and an aircraft with a longer flight range were never realized. But even without that, the A380 became the most capacious passenger liner in history. You can hear more details about him in the video on the Monster Anatomy channel.
