German media claim that the ban on cars with petrol and diesel engines is a settled issue. Reporters refer to their sources in the government and assure that there will be no compromises and discounts for certain groups of the population.
The only nuance that worries the leadership of European countries is the impending unemployment. It will inevitably happen if automakers do not begin to gradually switch to the production of electric cars now in order to completely rebuild their assembly lines by 2035.

Experts assure that due to the simplification and maximum unification of production, about 500 employees of automotive enterprises in European countries will still be left without work. The European Commission, in turn, promises that it will monitor the measures taken by brands and will not allow this.
In 2021, for the first time, electric cars were able to overtake hybrid versions of cars in sales, and by the end of December, diesel cars. This suggests that even the most conservative buyers are sure that investing in electric cars is profitable and promising.
The fall in demand for hybrid cars is also provoked by the governments of European countries. At first, the German authorities announced that they planned to abandon state support for buyers of such models. Now hybrids are generally equated with cars with traditional internal combustion engines, signing their sentence by 2035.

The German government took this step under pressure from various environmental organizations that aggressively demand the abandonment of gasoline and diesel cars. Hybrids got "under distribution" due to the fact that, according to statistics, they almost never move on pure electric traction. This means that they also harm the environment and should disappear.
But while subsidies are in effect in Germany, any buyer of a new hybrid car can receive about 600 rubles in our money. This amount is planned to be gradually reduced, and then completely canceled.
Russia is not yet threatened with a ban on registering cars with gasoline and diesel engines - our drivers can choose for themselves which car they need.
