The management of the Mongolian concern Bars Motor announced the opening of production facilities. They will be used to assemble machines for the local market. The MOZO crossover was presented back in 2019, but since then there has been no news about the car. And today, in a solemn atmosphere, the plant was opened.


What is known


The SUV was tested for three years in Mongolia. Engineers focused on adapting the car to local conditions: not the best quality of roads, sudden temperature changes during the day, a large amount of dust in the air.

The developers claim that they managed to make the perfect car for local conditions. It is not only unpretentious and reliable, but also equipped at the level of all middle-class crossovers currently produced. It is worth noting the fact that the work was carried out jointly with the Chinese auto giant Zotye. Therefore, the technological equipment of the model does not raise questions. Most likely, a number of ready-made solutions were used, which accelerated the development process and made it possible to assemble modern equipment in a short time.

Vehicle data and factory outlook


The car has not yet received a model name. This is the first from MOZO, but some kind of numeric or letter index will appear as the developers have indicated that the line will expand in the coming years. In particular, it is planned to produce an electric car, as well as a motorcycle adapted to the operating conditions in Mongolia.

The novelty has a one and a half liter turbocharged gasoline engine that produces 156 hp. With. and equipped with an automatic transmission. The suspension is reinforced to increase the resource, while it can not be called rigid.

The owner of the production facilities is the government of Mongolia, which will allow directing local students and employees of other enterprises for training and advanced training. According to authorities, this will increase the level of technical literacy of specialists and in the future will make it possible to train personnel on the spot without sending them to other countries.
