Limited edition Toyota Hilux AT33 goes on sale

Toyota has opened the start of sales of a new version of its Hilux pickup truck - this time the car is specially modified for harsh operating conditions. To make a full-fledged SUV, the manufacturer decided to establish cooperation with Arctic Trucks.


Competition in the pickup truck market is particularly strong in the US and Australia. It is in these countries that such cars are very popular. While fans of this body type are waiting for the new Ford Ranger Raptor, which was promised in 2023, Toyota engineers showed and even launched a modified Hilux pickup truck into the series.

The car was shown in the photos in the winter, and today the pre-order has already started in Italy. For those who are interested in the pickup, there is one news - the limited edition Toyota Hilux from Arctic Trucks will be released in only 80 copies. Most likely, this is just a “test of the pen”, it’s not for nothing that the Japanese manufacturer chose Italy for its debut, where pickups have never been very popular.



You can recognize the special version of the Toyota Hilux AT33 immediately by the specific body color - this is Rusty Bronze. What the manufacturer meant is not entirely clear, especially since the color is rather khaki. Apparently, the Japanese imagine the oxidation of bronze in such a way, although it is expressed in a bright green color.

In addition to body painting, the new off-road Toyota Hilux differs in special “evil” rubber that comes “from the factory”. The stock wheels are set to 17 inches.

The pickup comes with a two-row, five-seater cab only. The fact that this is more of a status car is evidenced by the rich equipment. It includes a nine-speaker audio system, wireless upgradable multimedia, dual-zone climate control and leather upholstery.



For customers in Italy, the car is offered with a number of additional options, although there are not too many of them. For example, on request, Toyota Hilux can be equipped with a surround view system and parking sensors.

Despite all their pomposity, Japanese manufacturers have not forgotten about efficiency. Under the hood of a pickup truck placed a turbodiesel engine with a displacement of 2,8 liters. It develops 204 hp. With. The gearbox is offered in one, non-alternative version - this is an 8-automatic transmission.

The cost of Toyota Hilux without a number of additional options starts from 4,88 million rubles. Expensive, of course, but the pickup is worth it!
