Chinese pickup Sany is a Tesla Cybertruck challenge

Representatives of the concern, specializing in the production of construction and special equipment, presented the first electric car intended for personal use. It was created by engineers and designers of Hunan Xingbida Network Technology, a subsidiary established in 2019. The developers have applied for a patent and hope to receive it before the end of 2022.

There is little data today, the creators keep most of the information secret. It is reported that the work was carried out with the involvement of third-party specialists, some technologies were acquired to reduce development time. The team initially had the goal of creating a competitor to the Tesla SUV, so they did not save on the quality of components and the reliability of the components used.



The novelty was kept secret, images and individual features became known thanks to the submission of documents for certification. As representatives of Sany explained, the electric car will be produced under their brand. This is due to the fact that in China it is known much better. Despite the fact that the company produced only special equipment, it has a good reputation in terms of reliability and ease of use.

Features

There are no specific parameters, as well as no data on the power of the SUV. It is known that in the process of creating a pickup truck, Sany worked closely with CATL, the world's leading manufacturer of traction batteries for vehicles and a developer of technological solutions for this industry. The novelty will receive the most modern batteries, which will positively affect its characteristics.

In size, this is a medium SUV with high ground clearance. There will be two or four drives to provide impressive traction. The size of the cargo platform is small, but the cabin turned out to be spacious.



The appearance is severe, this is a car with clear contours and futuristic optics - vertical running lights in front and the same lights in the back, complemented by two horizontal stripes. The car is steel-colored and it is not yet clear whether it is a painted body or stainless steel panels, similar to Tesla. The luminous brand name on the front makes the pickup even more recognizable.

There are no images of the interior design, but it will definitely be a utilitarian interior with modern equipment. News about the new product, according to the creators, should be expected in the fall of 2022.
