Helicopters are one of the most ancient aircraft. Attempts to build such a technique were made in China in the XNUMXth-XNUMXth centuries AD. e. For more than a century of history, this aircraft has undergone many improvements and alterations, but the principle of propulsion has remained the same. Therefore, some features of the aerodynamics of the blades do not allow this reliable technique to reach speeds of more than 400 km / h. Modern followers of Sikorsky were able to create the S-97 RAIDER helicopter, capable of reaching a maximum speed of up to 444 km / h.
