A frame SUV on “batteries” is something new. Especially if the car is a Russian Hunter. And yet, the Ulyanovsk plant, together with the Czechs, developed the concept of an electric car and provided it to the owner of the AUTONEWS channel for testing.
Outwardly, no differences can be found, except for a blind grille, or rather its absence. Inside, there is a strange combination of spartan furnishings - a metal panel, a huge "steering wheel" with a digital display. There are only two pedals in the car - gas and brake. However, the gearbox is the same, designed for five speeds, and the usual handle sticks out in its regular place. There is a "razdatka" and a lower gear. The author of the video conveys his feelings right on the go, and they are bright when it comes to acceleration dynamics. It is obvious that the driver did not expect this from UAZ. The test drive does not take place on an asphalt highway, but on fields and a dirt road: there are plenty of deep ruts and potholes on the route. Yes, you yourself will see how the car effortlessly overcomes all the "charms" of rough terrain. One can only hope that the Ulyanovsk plant will soon be able to produce off-road vehicles with such an engine.
