ChTZ T-800 - the largest tractor in the Soviet Union
The USSR's need for high-performance technology was great. Therefore, in the late 70s, the engineers of the Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant were given the task of creating a tractor for heavy work, which would be operated in difficult conditions. The terms of reference were implemented, and in 1983 the first T-800 rolled off the assembly line.

The tests were carried out on the territory of Uzbekistan, two units passed the tests and were immediately put into operation at the mining plant. The technique was used in various fields, it showed itself especially well in diamond mining, as the tractor lifts rock without blasting. This giant, weighing 104 tons, has a length of 12 m, a width of 6 m and a height of 5 m. A 40-liter diesel six-cylinder unit produces 820 hp. fuel consumption - 150 liters per hour.

The T-800 is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the most productive bulldozer in the world. It is also the largest tractor manufactured in Europe. Double cab provides comfortable accommodation for driver and passenger. Technology is in demand even today. In the video from the channel "OUR auto moto ANGAR", the T-800 model is considered in detail so that you can learn more about it.
