2022 Ford Ranger Splash Limited Edition Gets New Retro Colors

American company Ford has announced a line of colors for the 2022 model year Ranger Splash Limited Edition pickup truck, thus taking another step towards implementing the concept of retro-futurism in its model range. Until recently, the only officially known bright orange color scheme was. Now car The limited edition will be available in Snow Edition, Forest Edition and Sand Edition. The total edition will be 1750 copies.


The pickup truck in the Snow Edition modification will go on sale first. The company plans to release it this spring. The car is painted in a light shade called Avalanche. In the cabin, you can see rich black leather seats, diluted with ash-gray accents. Contrasting carbon fiber weave runs across the upholstery. Some interior details also have a jet black color. Pickups Snow Edition will be released in the amount of 750 pieces.



The second in a row on sale will be the Ford Ranger Forest Edition. According to the company's plans, this will happen next summer. The body of the car is painted in a rich green called Forged Green. The solid cover is interrupted by red accents and gray trim on the front grille. Inside, you will not find leather seating - instead, the interior is decorated with ash-gray fabric upholstery. In this version, only 500 pickups will be built.



Finally, the latest Sand Edition will be available to customers in the fall of 2022. Either the Ford designers ran out of imagination, or it was planned that way, but the interior design of the car in this version is similar to the Forest Edition version. The differences are visible from the outside - the body is painted in an exclusive color for this model called Desert Sand. As in the case above, the "sandy" Ford Ranger pickups will be offered in a limited edition of 500 units.



The cost of each of the limited edition cars will be $1495 higher. This, albeit a small one, is a surcharge for the right to stand out on the road among the gray mass of ordinary cars.

The premiere of the new Ford Ranger model took place in November last year, and full-scale production will begin next spring. When looking at the appearance of the updated pickup, we can conclude that the company honors the continuity of generations. At the same time, there are also fundamentally new solutions for the line, used in the new versions of the F-150 and Maverick.
