Dacia Bigster will cost less than 3 rubles - the manufacturer promises this price

Dacia has finally announced the price of its future bestseller Bigster. car, whose debut is expected in 2023, will ask for less than 3 rubles.


Dacia Bigster is unlikely to be sold in Russia, but this news is still relevant for domestic drivers. AvtoVAZ has repeatedly stated that the new Lada C-SUV will debut on the CMF-B platform, on which the Romanian crossover is made. It will be officially presented in 2025.

The Dacia Bigster family SUV has long been haunting the minds of SUV lovers. After showing the prototype, they said that sales would begin in 2025. But seeing the interest in the model, the manufacturer decided to speed up. According to new information, the stylish crossover will start selling in Europe as early as 2023.



Dacia-LADA General Director Denis le Vot said that Dacia Bigster is as cheap as possible by reducing the number of "useless" options that few drivers use in everyday life.

For example, there will be no power seat adjustments. Using the seats as an example, the CEO showed how the Dacia Bigster will be lightened. Surprisingly, Renault is not going to spend money on the electrification of the new model. The manufacturer's task is to make the most inexpensive, but at the same time comfortable car available for buyers in Eastern Europe.

The new SUV from Dacia will be the chassis for creating the Lada C-SUV crossover. Domestic drivers should only be glad that the debut of the car from AvtoVAZ will take place 2 years later. During this time, the “raw” model will be tested and rid of “childhood diseases”.

Dacia Bigster is not the next generation of Renault Duster. This is a new crossover, which will receive a length of 4 mm. For comparison, the Duster is only 600 mm. Whether this model will replace the “behemoth”, which won popular love in Russia, despite the controversial design, is unknown.



Most likely, the manufacturer plans to produce Duster in parallel, because this model is cheaper. But in the future, all Dacia-LADA cars will be transferred to the CMF-B platform. Duster, most likely, will be released as long as the model remains in steady demand.

Dacia Bigster looks modern and stylish compared to Duster, although there is something in common in the design of the two crossovers.

It remains only to wait for the start of mass production in Romania, and then the debut of the Lada S-SUV in Russia. By the way, this name for the domestic SUV is not final, most likely, it will be changed.
