As for the degree of import substitution of the new generation medium-haul aircraft, according to the designer, at the moment this figure is about 99%. And there is confidence that in a couple of years this figure will be one hundred percent. At the same time, Andrei Yashutin also clarified that the remaining one percent includes insignificant little things, mainly consumables.

Mr. Yashutin also answered the question about the planned dates for the start of commercial operation of the import-substituting MS-21. According to him, this event is expected in 2025. As previously reported, the first batch of six units of the new aircraft will be received by Aeroflot. Apparently, the transfer of the airliners will take place in the second half of next year.
