Details have been revealed about the timing of the start of operation of MS-21 and the level of its localization
During the event dedicated to the creation of the domestic airliner MS-21, answers to the most exciting questions were given. The meeting took place in one of the VDNKh pavilions, and the head of the design bureau of the Russian aircraft manufacturing company Irkut, Mr. Yashutin, shared information.
As for the degree of import substitution of the new generation medium-haul aircraft, according to the designer, at the moment this figure is about 99%. And there is confidence that in a couple of years this figure will be one hundred percent. At the same time, Andrei Yashutin also clarified that the remaining one percent includes insignificant little things, mainly consumables.
